On January 22 we had a crew of seven out burning more brush piles, this time on Zoerb. The snow made it difficult to get the piles started, but made it a safe day to burn and we had plenty of snow to put the piles of coals out at the end. But we have many more to go, making a well known Robert Frost poem come to mind, but crudely altered for the occasion... so sorry to all the Frost fans out there!
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And Piles to go before I sleep,
And Piles to go before I sleep.
