Stry Prairie Work Outing Saturday
We'll continue the restoration of our bluff prairies this Saturday, with a work outing on Stry Prairie on Miller Bluff. Enjoy the view from Miller Bluff while cutting and treating brush on the prairie. Meet at the end of Rim of the City Road.

About the Event
Saturday, October 7 - We'll be cutting and treating brush on Stry Prairie on Miller Bluff, 8:00 am to noon. Feel free to come later or leave earlier. Meet at the end of Rim of the City Rd. off County FA. The terrain is steep, though there is an option to work on flatter areas on the upper part of the prairie. RSVP is encouraged but not required.
Friends of the Blufflands, in partnership with the Coulee Region Chapter of The Prairie Enthusiasts, will begin having regular work outings on Tuesdays and Saturdays throughout October and November, starting October 3. Most often these will be from 8:00 to noon, but volunteers are welcome to participate for part of the scheduled hours and leave whenever they need to. Please join in the fun of working and learning together to help restore this important ecosystem while meeting other like-minded volunteers! Here are the plans for the first week:
