Second Saturday Hike at Eureka Maple Woods

Join Friends of the Blufflands for the second installment of Second Saturday Hikes at Eureka Maple Woods State Natural Area! This early May outing should be a perfect time to see a huge variety of the spring ephemeral wildflowers that call these woods home, including some uncommon and rare plants like squirrel corn, twinleaf, Goldie's fern, narrow-leaved spleenwort, walking fern, leafcup, and adam and eve orchid. Jon Rigden will be leading this hike and we will meet at 9:00 AM at his cabin at 6603 Oboe Avenue which is right next to this SNA and proceed from there.
