Mathy Bluff Work Outing

Friends of the Blufflands and the Coulee Region Chapter of The Prairie Enthusiasts are organizing a joint work day to cut and treat woody plants on Mathy Bluff Prairie this Sunday, January 8, from 9 to 2. Will meet at the Mathy parking lot which is at the end of County FA past the Rim of the City Road. Weather looks good for a work day- sunny with a high of 27 and minimal wind. Snow should not be a problem. Bring your favorite loppers and hand pruners, but we will supply those for anyone who needs them. We will have herbicide and some of us will bring chainsaws for the larger plants. For those interested, we will meet afterwards at the Alpine Inn for a late lunch. Hope to see you on Sunday!
