Take a hike with land management in mind- If you have ever hiked the woods or walked a prairie and wondered how land owners or land managers would sustainably utilize an area, then come walk from the Lower Hixon Forest to Lookout Prairie. Ask questions and talk about the management options for: invasive species, timber stand improvements, timber harvesting, savanna restoration, prescribed burning, seed collecting, mushroom cultivation and more.
