Our grassroots organization is entirely dependent on the work of dedicated volunteers to achieve our mission of promoting sound conservation practices in the Coulee Region Blufflands and serving as a voice for those who value the Blufflands for the habitat, beauty, nature-based recreation, and health opportunities they provide.
Volunteer Work Parties
We host frequent work parties that contribute significantly to our efforts to restore, manage, and steward the remnant and reconstructed prairies and woodlands of our shared Blufflands. Tasks vary throughout the seasons and across different sites, but may include cutting and treating invasive brush, pulling invasive plants, seed collection, and burning brush piles.
